Seasoned Beans From - Beans Bulk Recipe
11½ Tbsp. or 4 ½ oz. El Cid Mexican Bean Seasoning
7 gallons of water
5 lbs. any beans: pinto, black, kidney or black-eyed peas
Place beans in large bowl with 3 gallons of water and let stand 2-4 hours. Drain and rinse beans thoroughly. In large pot with lid, combine beans, seasoning and 4 gallons of water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover and cook 3-5 hours, adding water as needed. Stir occasionally. Cook until beans are tender and tasty. |
